I moved here in the Spring of 2023 after touring all the Independent Senior Living Communities in Lakewood. A big decision for me but a good one. Since the very first day, I was welcomed by the other residents and staff and felt right at home. Carmel Oaks offers so many activities and opportunities daily. The facility is first rate, clean and beautiful. If you're looking for your forever home, I highly recommend Carmel Oaks!
Living at Carmel Oaks feels like you are with "family" to me. Everyone is very friendly and there are so many activities offered. I especially like the food plan and our complimentary large storage closets.
We found a home at Carmel Oaks! We love our commodious apartment. The staff is hard working and caring. We enjoy the fact that everything is enclosed in one facility... dining room, coffee shop, art studio, wood shop, barber, pedicurist, massage, library, theater, game room, work-out room and more. Our residents are welcoming and friendly. A walk down the hall will always be met with a warm greeting and/or a conversation.
