What is a CCRC?

Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) are senior living communities that accomodate all levels of care on the same campus. There are living spaces for independent living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing care. Continuing Care Retirement Communities allow residents to remain in the same community even as their health needs change—giving them more purpose and joy in their lives.

How it works.

Continuing Care Retirement Communities require a one-time entrance fee and a monthly service fee. The entrance fee goes toward future costs including health care, and some plans include potential refunds up to 80% when you leave the community or pass away. Continuing Care Retirement Communities help you prepare for your future by providing you with a plan that will help answer life's what if's.

Additionally, there are tax advantages for residents and a care fund in place to assist any residents that may outlive their resources.
