Retired in New Mexico, my husband of 52 years passed. I moved to Sioux Falls to be close to my family. My goal was to find a home place that comforted me with the feeling of community and friendship. My extended family has been found in The Parkwood. This beautiful new complex offers several apartment plans. All apartments are fresh with new appliances, central air conditioning and furnace. The developing open outdoor spaces will offer interesting activities. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. I am enjoying the feeling of the community while catching up the day’s activities with friends at breakfast, sipping a glass of wine with dinner meals, looking forward to the possibilities of The Parkwood. This is home for Winnie, my mini bernedoodle, and me.
We moved to the Parkwood looking to simplify our lives, find community, and be close to family.
