The Rivers is ready for all our residents, with compassion and a person-centered approach to senior living.
The Rivers opened in 1999 on land previously owned by The River Hills United Methodist Church. The community adopted the name “The Rivers” because of its location just south of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. In 2016, The Rivers joined the Transforming Age family of communities and officially became a not-for-profit organization.
At The Rivers, our team is united around a shared mission to remove limits and enhance the lives of older adults in our community. This starts by transforming the perception of age in general, then providing the building blocks for connection and longevity. These building blocks include the delivery of innovative, personalized care and a focus on total wellness of body and mind. From the services we provide to the meals we serve, it all gets delivered with warm smiles, a sense of adventure, and contagious optimism—because enhancing lives is at the core of everything we do.
