I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Saratoga Retirement Community who cared for my mother throughout 2026. Sadly, my mother passed away on August 21 at El Camino Hospital. As I reflect on her final year, I am incredibly grateful for the compassion, kindness, and dignity she received during her time at Saratoga Retirement Community. Most importantly, my mother was happy here. She felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. As her son, knowing that she was surrounded by people who treated her with kindness and compassion gave me tremendous comfort and peace of mind. I would especially like to thank Dr. Silva for his care, guidance, and compassion; the wonderful team at Sutter Hospice for supporting my mother and our family during an especially difficult period; and Sandy, the director of the facility, for her kindness, leadership, and support throughout my mother’s time at the community. To the nurses, caregivers, medical professionals, and staff who cared for her every day—thank you. Many acts of kindness happen quietly and may seem like simply part of the job, but to a family entrusting the care of someone they love, they mean more than words can adequately express. My family and I will always remember the warmth and compassion you showed my mother. You helped make the final chapter of her life more comfortable, dignified, and happy, and for that I will always be grateful. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom.

When we moved into SRC (Saratoga Retirement Community), we discovered the neighborhood that we thought we had lost forever. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We believe that SRC clearly provides the most stress-free, warm and inviting environment for its residents.

Every morning when I wake up I feel blessed to be living here at SRC. It is the location, the amazing food but most importantly it is the residents and the staff. It's like living on a cruise ship on land.
