Meet Transforming Age’s 2026 Summer Interns

Meet Transforming Age’s 2026 Summer Interns

This summer, Transforming Age is proud to welcome a talented group of interns from across the country. Bringing diverse experiences, fresh ideas, and a shared passion for serving older adults, these individuals are already making meaningful contributions to our mission.

Many of our interns are participating in the ROAD (Rotational Onsite Administrative Development) program, where they gain hands-on experience within our communities nationwide. Through rotations in areas such as operations, life enrichment, dining services, and other key departments, they develop a well-rounded understanding of senior living. We’re also excited to have interns supporting our Marketing, Communications, and Branding team, helping to amplify the stories and impact of Transforming Age behind the scenes.

Meet our interns below!

Kaylee Foster

(📍Minnesota, ROAD Intern)

Hi my name is Kaylee Foster! I am from Roseville, Minnesota, and I currently go to school at Iowa State University where I am studying healthcare management, and I will be a senior this upcoming fall. I joined Transforming Age as the ROAD intern, because I have really been drawn to having a career in senior living and I love Transforming Age’s values. I also was very interested in the rotational aspect of this internship and learning more about each department. I am hoping to grow more as a leader and take what I have learned in the classroom, apply it and help all the communities I will be at grow more.

I was drawn to Transforming Age because of its commitment to serving older adults through innovation, compassion, and person-centered care. As a ROAD Intern, I’m excited to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, learn from experienced leaders, develop my leadership skills, and better understand how teams work together to create exceptional experiences for residents.

Hello! I recently completed my freshman year at Gonzaga University, where I am majoring in Finance and involved in organizations such as the Investment Club, Gonzaga’s Investment Banking Accelerator, and several outdoor-focused clubs. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, wake surfing, paddleboarding, staying active, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. I was drawn to Transforming Age because of my previous experience working in senior living, where I spent three years as a server building meaningful relationships with residents and discovering a passion for supporting older adults. Through this internship, I’m excited to gain hands-on experience in marketing and administration while learning more about the business and operational side of senior living.

Jake MacBeth

(📍Iowa, Data Analytics Intern)

Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Data Science and currently live in Des Moines, Iowa. Growing up, I spent a lot of time playing soccer and still enjoy following the sport today, especially gathering with friends to watch World Cup matches. In my free time, I love spending summers swimming in the Raccoon River. I was drawn to Transforming Age because of my close relationship with my grandmother, which inspired a passion for helping older adults and supporting their well-being. Through this internship, I hope to gain hands-on experience in senior living and make a meaningful, tangible impact on the lives of residents.

Tram Doan

(📍California, Culinary Intern)

Hi my name is Tram Doan and I am a nursing student at Seattle University with a strong interest in the intersection between healthcare, hospitality, and community care. I decided to pursue this internship because I wanted to learn and better understand daily life in elderly care and its meaningful impact on the residents and their well-being. Being a culinary intern allows me to hone my communication skills while enhancing my knowledge with nutrition, patient-centered care, and a supportive environment that shapes the quality of life. This experience allows me to explore one of the many career paths within hospitality and will directly support my growth as a future nurse by strengthening the compassionate, holistic approach I hope to bring into my career.
