Skyline Welcomes Ken Klotz as New Executive Director

March 10, 2025 – Seattle, Wash. – Transforming Age announces the appointment of Ken Klotz as the new Executive Director of Skyline. With over twenty-five years of experience in senior living management and executive leadership, Ken brings a proven track record of success for enhancing community operations and resident satisfaction.

Ken Klotz has held several prominent positions in the industry, including his recent role as Executive Director at Wesley Des Moines, a non-profit mission driven CCRC made up of over 445 residences in addition to a 72 bed SNF and 260 team members. During his tenure, he oversaw the completion of the Phase III addition to the community, successfully filling 94 apartments within five weeks of opening while also sustaining strong occupancy and growing resident satisfaction. He gained respect within Wesley’s network for driving strong working relationships with residents, the resident council, and partners. 

Prior to Wesley Des Moines, Ken served as Executive Director at Queen Anne Manor, where he drove an occupancy turnaround and transformed the community with high performing operations and resident satisfaction. He also led the transition to new digital systems and stabilized staff turnover. Ken’s deep leadership experience also includes roles at Cogir Senior Living and Aegis Living.

Upon welcoming Ken Klotz to the Executive Director office, Ken Noreen, the Chief Operating Officer at Transforming Age shared, “We championed an extensive nation-wide search to find the best possible candidate for this key role within our organization.  Ken’s roots in the Northwest combined with his deep expertise in CCRC management will be invaluable to elevate Skyline and continue Skyline’s legacy of being exceptional while serving the mission of Transforming Age.”

Ken holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Webster University.  In his free time, he enjoys cooking as well as traveling with his wife and daughter.
