I was working at Covenant Shores in Mercer Island, and knew about Skyline, and it was an ideal place for me. I toured it 15 years ago (2009) and absolutely loved it. When a job opened at Skyline I decided to take a look and apply, and I immediately loved the team. This job has felt like a dream come true. Skyline is my heart and soul. I have been here since 2018.
I immediately saw how wonderful the residents are. When you connect with them, they appreciate your work, and you keep giving! It’s so easy to see how your work is impacting the residents. The way I connect with residents and how they’re accomplishing things together, makes me enjoy every single day.
I cannot tell you how much I feel like I belong. I feel that it’s part of me, these are people that I care about, and I am connected to them.
