As the summer comes to a close, we want to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of our Transforming Age interns. Over the past few months, this talented group brought fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and genuine curiosity to their work. Through hands-on experiences across the organization, they explored not only the senior living industry, but also the opportunities, purpose, and impact that come with serving older adults.
For their final projects, interns were asked to tackle a powerful question:
“Why would Gen Z want to pursue a career in senior living?”
Each intern was given the freedom to choose a creative medium to explore and present their answer. Through research, storytelling, interviews, videos, presentations, and other innovative approaches, they examined how senior living can offer meaningful careers, strong community connections, and opportunities to make a lasting difference.
The projects below reflect the insights, skills, and perspectives our interns gained throughout the summer. More importantly, they showcase how the next generation views the future of aging services and the role they can play in shaping it.
